The Loango coastline has a long history of human settlement and guests can be shown a number of archaeological sights ranging in age from the early Stone Age, through Bantu settlement and leading up to the colonial era. Bwiti Dancing (year-round): Bwiti is a form of extended traditional Gabonese initiation ritual and some of the dances associated with it are an unusual spectacle especially as they involve fire. During a late-night visit to a typical local village, guests will be able to learn about and see some of the parts of this ritual.
